Bhive’s bee smoker fuel is perfect for the hobby apiarist or if you are starting out with your first beehives. Made from medicinal Chinese herbs, it has calming and antibacterial properties. A single pellet size is 18mm x 30mm.

Use

• Light a fire inside your smoker can using a few of your smoker fuel pellets
• Alternative options for fuel or kindling are egg cartons, twigs, wood chips or balled up newspaper
• Make sure not to pack your kindling too far down where it may hamper airflow
• Once you’ve lighted your kindling, replace the lid of the smoker
• Squeeze the smoker bellow to force the smoke from the can
• Do not overuse your smoker as it may affect your honey quality
