When You Will Need A New Queen Bee

If you find yourself in one of the following three scenarios it may be time to rear a new queen for your hive.

An aging or ill queen. The new queen can be reared in a superceder cell to replace her sub- optimal predecessor
Swarming. During this natural process your queen will leave the hive along with a number of other bees with the intention of establishing a new colony. To ensure how to rent your original-collapsing hive from collapsing you need to rear and you clean immediately
Splitting your hive. If your bee population has reached such a high level that there’s no longer enough room in your hive even with extra boxes, congratulations!
